1. When does the refund arrive?
The refund is disbursed directly by the Department of the Treasury. Therefore, if you want more details, you must verify your SURI account and/or contact the Treasury directly at the following number: 787.721.2020.
2. Can I cancel my return after it is filed?
You cannot cancel the filing of a return once it has been sent. If you understand that you sent any incorrect and/or incomplete information, you will have to wait for the return to be processed and then make an amendment. We recommend that you wait at least a day after filing it.
3. Why can't I amend my Return?
It is possible that you still cannot amend the return since you must wait for SURI to process it and then you can file an amendment to that original return.
4. Why do I get that I have debt?
The tax payable at the Treasury is based on different computations that result in line 28 of the return. If you want to verify and analyze the return, we recommend that you contact a tax advisor so that they can guide you in this regard.
5. I just paid the return, why was it not filed?
The payment of your return does not file the same. It is required that, after making the payment, you continue with the filing steps until you finish and receive the confirmation number.
