- Who is in charge of processing the tax return?
Your tax return or determined total tax is processed by the Department of Treasury. Taxmania does not have the information on when it will be processed and/or sent.
If you do not see the status of your tax return in your SURI account after one to two business days and you want to know the status, you should contact the Department of Treasury.
- When is it processed?
The Department of Treasury is in charge of processing the tax returns. Taxmania does not have an estimate, since we are a platform for the preparation and filing of tax returns. We do not process tax forms or tax returns once these are submitted.
- Where can I see the status of the tax return?
To obtain details of your tax return after submitting it, you must access your SURI/IRS account to see the status of the refund.

- How long does it take to receive the tax return?
Refunds are delayed according to the processing time of the agency in charge of the tax return. Could be the Department of Treasury or the IRS. This may vary and will be disbursed directly by the agency in charge of the tax return that you filed.
- What can I do if the tax return is not processed or a long time has passed and I still have not received it?
In the event that your tax return has not yet been processed or you haven't received it, it is important that you contact the Department of Treasury or the IRS, depending on whether the tax return is state-owned or federal so that they can update the information related to your form.
- What should I do when I see that my tax return/amount to pay shows up differently in SURI?
If when you file your tax return in Taxmania, it appears that it does not match the SURI information, you must go to your SURI account and validate that the tax return or amount to be paid has not changed.
